It’s a new product that’s just been added to the collection at Hiberform, an Irish Design Brand established in 2011 to develop a range of innovative spatial division and furniture products all designed and made in Ireland. ‘Plyhouse’ was originally commissioned by The Dock Gallery in Carrick on Shannon for the exhibition ‘Thinking, Living, Dwelling’ held last September during Leitrim’s Green-Door Festival. The structure was designed to display the library of architecture and design books gathered by the organisers for the festival together with artworks and information tablets. It is made from high quality CNC cut Birch Plywood but can also be ordered in veneered plywood or colour lacquer. Steel fittings come in black finish as standard. Additional acoustic panels for inside the structure, cable management and LED lighting strips can also be ordered if required. We can also custom make the structure to any size required. The size shown is 3.9m high however we can produce it at lower heights to fit within standard height rooms.
