Leo Scarff is a product designer, design lecturer, consultant and exhibition curator originally from Dublin but now based in Manorhamilton, Co.Leitrim. He has over 20 years experience in the design world, setting up his design studio Leo Scarff Design in 1997 and has lectured extensively in creative practice, product design and design history since 1999.
He was a founder member of the Irish Furniture Designers Network 2001-2011 and has exhibited at design shows in Europe and the US. Leo has particular knowledge of product production, material sourcing, creative brand development and is a passionate promoter of Irish Design & Art
Leo has given workshops in innovative materials for the Interior Architecture course at Sligo IT, product design for Leitrim Livecraft and is a Creative Lab Facilitator for the Harnessing Creativity Program. He has also been a director of the Leitrim Sculpture Centre and Leitrim Design House

Currently Leo is a member of Fablab Manorhamilton which offers digital fabrication services as well as delivering courses in Design Skills across Ireland for several organisations such as MSLETB, My Creative Edge, DCCoI and Creative Spark
